For the first time we have decided to open our doors to guests at Christmas time. Painswick has a lot to offer at this time of year and we feel confident that for those of you who want a complete, low key, yet traditional break, we have everything you will need.
On Christmas Eve the various local hostelries offer a traditional pub atmosphere full of seasonal cheer. St Marys Church offers a midnight carol service. The following morning we will provide a lovely Christmas breakfast, at a time to suit your plans for the day. There are mass/services on Christmas morning should you wish to attend.
Within 200 metres walking distance there is a local Bistro which is offering a Christmas lunch between 12 and 3pm for £44.95 (the menu is a five course meal and excludes drinks).
After this, you can retire to your room, watch TV or DVD's; sit out on the Terrace/Balcony with your favourite tipple (supplied by you) and relax and enjoy the views; or take advantage of the wonderful walks that the beautiful surrounding countryside affords.
Boxing day benefits from normal opening times so most places should be open.
This two-day break is available at our normal daily rates* but you have to book for a minimum of two nights. On booking please contact us to let us know if you would like us to book your Christmas meal, we can discuss any other requirements you may have (an email or phone call will be fine.)
